Tips
Here are some tips to make sure your season is off to a good start:

Come into the season fit (see “recommended fitness” section)
thoroughly rested (3-4 days) prior to Tryouts

Be prepared for a system of play (4-3-3, 3-4-3 etc) that you have never played before. Approach any questions with an open mind.

Be prepared to play a new position. Several players are re-trained each year!

Do not give blood 3 months prior to or during the season; you will suffer from iron deficiency that you will not recover from during that period and your performances will suffer.
